Areola Micropigmentation can be a great option for clients who’d like to start over after breast cancer or who’d like to hide areola scarring. It is a medical tattooing procedure, the final stage of breast reconstruction, and it is often considered by those with areola color loss.
After the nipple reconstruction is completed, the tattooing process may begin, 6 – 12 weeks post-surgery.
The areola’s appearance–a patch of skin around surrounding the nipple–plays a vital role in a man or woman’s self-image. That’s why, for many of our clients, areola tattooing symbolizes the begining of a new chapter.
